Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal E-Filing Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of California pleadings and a proven track record in managing electronic filing processes. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute electronic filing of legal documents in compliance with California court requirements.

• Prepare, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

• Ensure all filings are accurate, timely, and comply with court rules and procedures.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of e-filing systems and court requirements.

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff to ensure seamless filing processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to e-filing.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

• 5-7 years of experience in legal e-filing, specifically with California pleadings.

• In-depth knowledge of California court rules and e-filing systems.

• Proficiency in legal document management software and e-filing platforms.

• Ability to process TOAs/TOCs (Table of contents and Table of Authorities).

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Paralegal certification or legal assistant training.

• Experience with multiple e-filing systems and platforms.

• Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.

The Compensation range for this role is 30.00 to 40.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
