The Role

Launched in 2006, YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP’s Online Flagship Stores Division partners with world leading luxury brands to power their own e-commerce destinations. It provides a suite of B2B luxury services including online and mobile store development, high-precision omnichannel logistics, unrivalled customer care, impactful digital marketing, data-driven merchandising and global strategy development.  

 

The Online Flagship Stores Division’s main aim is to help brand partners anticipate customer needs and create a seamless luxury retail experience. Its advanced omnichannel model – NEXT ERA – blurs the lines between online shopping, mobility and the boutique, providing unprecedented visibility and access to products across the world, transforming the shopping journey for customers, wherever they are and however they choose to shop.  

 

In 2019 YOOX NET-A-PORTER officially opened its new state-of-the-art Innovation Space in Milan to support the Online Flagship Stores mono-brand offer, exploring the shopping experience of the future by combining mobile, visual recognition, augmented reality and customized technologies. 

The Online Flagship Division are now seeking a talented E-Commerce Specialist Intern to join the team.

Some of the essentials for you to know are: 

Location: our office in Zola Predosa (Bologna)
Reporting into: Senior Client Manager Online Flagship Stores

Contract type: 6-months Internship

Working Model: Hybrid

Start Date: May/June 2025

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

  • Manage day by day activities in order to ensure the proper working and updating of the website, taking into account the commercial strategies;

  • Support the planning activities related to the catalogue, shooting and logistics;

  • Support in coordination and management of technical activities and requirements definition;

  • Be the contact person appointed to interface with the Technology and Sales teams for release/setup projects in order to maximize Group effort and delivery to the Partner;

  • Coordinate with support areas such as Customer Care;

  • Support and coordination with Operations to ensure proper product deliveries;

  • Support in the management of the relationship with Brand Partners.

The type of person we are looking for:

  • University degree in Economics, Marketing, Communication Studies or related fields with outstanding performance;

  • Prior experience in E-Commerce related field or significant project work on E-Comm Management during University or Master will be considered as a strong plus;

  • Ability to communicate effectively with other colleagues in different departments;

  • Passion for e-commerce and marked inclination for Internet and its communication channels;

  • Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of Excel;

  • Good knowledge of Power Point;

  • Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory;

  • Proactive attitude and work ethics.
