Purpose of the Role 

The E-Commerce Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing a strategic roadmap to grow and optimize our digital commerce experience. This role combines business strategy, user experience, and technology, leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative online shopping solutions. By leveraging data analytics and customer insights, the manager identifies opportunities for product enhancements, prioritizes initiatives with measurable business impact, and ensures seamless execution throughout the product lifecycle. The position actively monitors performance metrics, industry trends, and competitor activity to drive revenue, conversion, and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the e-commerce product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives by setting strategic priorities and communicating vision to stakeholders
  • Define, prioritize, and oversee feature enhancements and new capabilities through structured backlog management and cross-functional input
  • Collaborate closely with ERP, marketing, merchandising, and engineering teams to deliver integrated product solutions, facilitate project planning, and resolve technical or operational dependencies
  • Analyze performance metrics using dashboards and reporting tools to assess product health, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve customer experience and funnel efficiency by reviewing user feedback, conducting journey mapping, and implementing targeted improvements
  • Lead testing, experimentation, and optimization initiatives such as A/B tests, usability studies, and conversion rate optimization, ensuring rigorous documentation and measurable outcomes
  • Gather, synthesize, and translate customer, stakeholder, and market insights into actionable strategies through surveys, interviews, competitive analysis, and industry research
  • Develop clear and comprehensive product requirements and user stories for development teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
  • Ensure timely product releases by managing release schedules, coordinating cross-functional activities, and tracking progress against milestones; conduct post-launch performance tracking to monitor adoption and address issues
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor platforms, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy, identify potential risks, and recommend innovation opportunities
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field. 3+ years of product management or e-commerce experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Typically, more than 3 years of experience in related job function; Experience in agile/scrum environments; Knowledge of SEO, CRO, and digital marketing strategies; Background in retail, DTC, or marketplace businesses; Experience with personalization or recommendation engines; SQL or data visualization experience is a plus
