Position Summary
As the E-Commerce Business Development Manager (Account Manager), you are responsible for managing and optimizing sales operations through online channels with a focus on driving revenue, executing promotions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment on sales forecasts and strategies. You will also develop online channel strategies in your assigned product category that will drive/sustain profitable online growth.Role and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
Sales Operations
Oversee all online sales operations, ensuring alignment with business units (BUs) and maximizing revenue generation.
Work with sales forecasting teams to ensure accurate predictions using sell-out run rates, reports, back orders, open POs, and channel inventory.
Revenue Generation
Identify and drive opportunities to increase sales revenue through online channels.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and explore strategies to improve customer AOV and conversion rates. - optimize existing platforms - samsung.com, and others
Develop and implement online sales and operational plans that align with overall business objectives.
Promotion Management
Consolidation of approved monthly promotions and setup guide - summary of all promo rules
Coordinate promo brief to Performance marketing, setup brief to Platform
Discuss with BU toolkit , and playbook shared by the Performance Marketing team
Channel Engagement
Actively engage with business units and partners to seek opportunities to improve channel engagement.
Provide guidance on promotion planning and execution to ensure alignment with business goals.
Forecasting and Alignment
Manage online pre-consensus forecasting, working with BUs and online sales inputs to develop accurate sales forecasts.
Align closely with customers and internal teams to ensure that sales targets and inventory levels are optimized.
Monthly Promo Setup Guide for Platform
Oversee the operation of the Samsung platform (www.samsung.com), ensuring that all sales, promotions, and product activations are executed effectively.
Coordinate with the SDS team to ensure that product benefits, communications, and activations of models are timely and accurate.
Collaboration and Coordination
Work closely with online business development, product managers and Regional Headquarters/Headquarters teams to ensure seamless coordination on promotions and sales strategies.
Ensure that all promotions and sales initiatives are in sync with overall company objectives and aligned with the customer experience.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role you must have/be able to:
Must be a Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably in Business or Marketing
Must have at least 8 years experience in Online/E-Commerce Account Management/Sales Management
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and negotiate with key decision-makers
Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure. Demonstrated project management skills
Able to be resourceful and can use your problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and develop creative solutions.
Know-how in sales forecasting is a plus
Must be willing to work on-site daily (McKinley, Taguig)
