Our Opportunity:
Chewy’s Promotions team is looking for an Manager, Program Management III, to join our team. We are looking for a leader and owner, who will partner with senior leaders cross-functionally to develop and lead our promotional planning process at Chewy. You will have the opportunity to lead a team that influences Chewy’s promotional planning and builds new playbooks to bring our strategy to life, working with multiple partners across the organization. A successful leader has a passion for simplifying complex processes, ability to influence senior executives and has proven results in delivering and managing large scale programs. The leader should have experience with business strategy, operations, and building high-performing organizations. The role provides broad exposure to the strategy, operations, and leaders and will be an entrepreneurial, career-defining role.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and manage the promotional planning process at Chewy, working backwards from key customer and business objectives.
- Develop and manage new mechanisms and tools to improve transparency, communication, and planning across teams
- Organize and prioritize critical issues and information for senior leadership (stakeholders and executives, including C-Suite) to facilitate effective decision-making.
- Own regular business reviews with leadership and coordinating efforts across the team and partners.
- Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, balance the Customer’s needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize benefit.
- Develop and manage key business metrics and financials for programs and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
- Create a high performing culture by driving collaborative working relationships with stakeholders internally and externally while holding partners accountable to a high bar.
What You’ll Need:
- MBA or equivalent Master’s degree in General Business Management, Finance or Operations.
- 7+ years of program leadership and program management experience (preferred in e-commerce or Retail)
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels including with senior executives
- Proven command of process, management, and finance in support of strategic and innovation projects
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment and solve complex problems.
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail
- Can anticipate and avert problems
- Motivated self-starter; finding opportunities for improvement and assuming responsibility
- Collaborative individual with the ability to work well with diverse groups
Bonus (if applicable):
- Previous experience with SQL and Tableau
- E-commerce background is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
Our salary range for a Manager, Program Management III position is $129,500.00 - $207,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
