That’s why we’re looking for an E-Billing Operations Analyst to help us oversee firm-wide e-billing operations from transmission through payment, including oversight of the e-Billing Hub, multiple e-Billing platforms and e-Billing gateways.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for…
- Establishing, maintaining and updating e-bill processes and controls
- Providing summary instructions and client guidelines distillation
- Auditing for complete and thorough set-up of newly enrolled e-bill clients and clients moving from one e-bill platform to another
- Auditing for timely timekeeper, rate, budget submissions and approvals
- Troubleshooting technical challenges and resolving complex e-billing issues with clients and/or vendors
- Assisting in training firm billing coordinators in e-Billing Hub and additional vendor services
- Serving as a liaison to staff and attorneys to resolve firm-wide e-bill issues
- Ensuring superior levels of customer service in interactions with all levels of internal and external clients
The successful candidate will demonstrate...
- A minimum of two years previous accounting and/or billing experience, including e-billing experience
- Thorough understanding of bill processing including policies and procedures; ability to review and interpret client billing guidelines
- Working knowledge of electronic billing processes, including creation, manipulation and submission of LEDES files
- Familiarity with legal vendor electronic billing sites
- Legal billing experience with Aderant or Elite preferred
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of responsibilities and the aptitude for effective and creative problem solving
- Strong project and time management skills
Pay Range for Candidates in Baltimore, MD: $78,000 - $90,000 per year
The range provided is the minimum and maximum salary that Venable in good faith believes at the time of this posting that it is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on individual candidate qualifications and location.
