Main Responsibilities as a D365 Business Central (BC) Developer
- Design, develop, and test solutions on NAV/BC platforms
- Develop custom C/AL and AL code to implement business requirements
- Be responsible for installing, upgrading, configuring, troubleshooting, documenting, and customizing on a NAV/BC platform
- Convert functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents
- Liaise with clients regularly to understand their business requirements and coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed by pre-determined deadlines
- Be responsible for effective customer escalation management
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated 5+ years of experience in development on NAV/BC
- Expertise in building extensions, report writing, and development of customizations
- Expertise in moving the code base from NAV to Business Central
- Expert level understanding of Visual Studio Code with TFS/Docker/Git
- Solid Infrastructure knowledge of:
- Windows Containers
- PowerShell
- Good knowledge of XML/Json builder
- Good knowledge of .Net code and API integration with AL/CAL code
- Expertise working with AL-Object Types
- Expert level understanding of PowerBI and Machine Learning
- Graduate degree (BE/B Tech/BCA) or diploma in Engineering
- Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Business Central Development
- Excellent business communication skills with effective presentation and demonstration skills
- Ability to work independently and guide junior team members to deliver above and beyond commitments
- Strong learning orientation with regards to new technologies and implementation
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
