  • Review and interpret shock, vibration, and acoustic measurements from hot-fire and flight data.
  • Derive dynamic environment levels and generate associated documentation, specifications, and requirements.
  • Develop, plan, supervise, and verify component environments tests (e.g., vibration, acoustic, and shock tests) to validate analytical predictions.
  • Develop and improve tools and methods for efficient data processing and reduction of test and flight environments.
  • Work closely with test, instrumentation, and systems engineering teams to ensure adequate, well‑placed, and high‑quality measurements are acquired during ground and flight testing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or aerospace

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in rocket engine development, with at least 2 years focused on vibroacoustics or dynamic environments.
  • Experience with cryogenic fluids and rocket engine design, including understanding of major subsystems (turbomachinery, combustion devices, valves, feedlines, etc.).
  • Familiarity with rocket engine hot-fire testing and associated data acquisition, including instrumentation such as accelerometers, pressure transducers, strain gauges, load cells, and microphones.
  • Experience defining, executing, and correlating vibration, acoustic, and shock tests to analytical predictions.
  • Familiarity with CAD and PLM tools, such as Creo (Pro/E) and Windchill.
