The Role
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Due Diligence Consultant
In this role, you will:
  • Participate in conducting due diligence programs on moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within functional area and contribute to large scale planning related to functional area deliverables
  • Provide subject matter expertise on due diligence documentation requirements and data sources
  • Support business in execution of due diligence reporting processes and controls, interpret policies, guidelines and governance programs
  • Review and analyze client onboarding processes and challenges that require research, investigation, evaluation, and selection of alternatives
  • Provide subject matter expertise on documentation and data sources and exercise independent judgment to guide moderate to high risk deliverables
  • Compile and evaluate report results and escalate when necessary
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet functional area process deliverables
  • Leverage solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, managers and internal and external customers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Due Diligence experience, or equivalent (including risk management, client service, operations support, or business process management) demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong KYC Expertise: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Know Your Customer processes, standards, and risk assessment practices.
  • Independent Decision-Making: Proven ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured and deadline-driven environment.
  • Analytical Capability: Skilled in researching, analyzing, and determining appropriate actions for complex risk scenarios.
  • Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of compliance requirements related to the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and associated risk controls.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Adept at delivering strong customer service and fostering positive customer relationships.
  • Training & Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert with experience in training, mentoring, and guiding team members.
  • Organizational & Time Management Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, quality, and compliance standards.
Job Expectations:
  • Sound knowledge in KYC
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and determine a course of action for financial transactions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding USA PATRIOT Act and Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
  • Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • Ability to provide strong customer service and develop customer relationships.
  • Subject matter expert and Training skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.
Shift Timings: 1: 30 PM to 10: 30 PM(flexible with shift timing)
