-S’assure que le foyer de groupe est sécuritaire, ordonné et hygiénique
-Prépare les menus et les repas; supervise les usagers qui aident à la préparation les repas
-Participe aux réunions du personnel

Under the authority of the Group Home Coordinator, the educator will assume the following responsibilities:
-Direct, animate and supervise youths in daily/weekly program activities
-Provide individual support and guidance to youths and their families, according to the established individual plan
-Observe and report to the immediate superior the behavior or modification of behavior of the youths
-Intervene directly in all situations where youth may become or have already become engaged in acting out, hurtful, destructive or self-destructive behavior
-Communicate with youths’ parents to report on progress
-Ensure an adequate standard of safety, order and hygiene in the group home
-Prepare menus and meals. Supervise users helping in meal preparation
-Attend and participate in staff meetings
Skills Required
- Experience working with youth or in a group home setting
- Knowledge of individual support plans
- Ability to communicate effectively with families
- Basic culinary skills for meal preparation
