Responsibilities
- Design and Development of piping for conventional as well as electric Trucks.
- Hands on experience of Pneumatic and Hydraulic piping design & Series management handling.
- Hands on experience of vehicle level routing planning and layout creation
- Should have good knowledge of manufacturing methods Sheet metal
- Should have good knowledge of assembly process, system level knowhow
- Should ensure design process/ design guidelines for piping, material selection
- Should generate various weight and cost reduction ideas and implement them
- DMU creation & Packaging study
- Identification of Defects & Failures with potential solutions
- Good knowledge of Siemens NX – Part modelling, sheet metal, assembly, drawing modules.
- Drawing creation of Piping & brackets
- Piping diagrams and Installation Drawings
- Engineering release activities
- Knowhow of MB Trucks product portfolio, processes
We are seeking a Product Design Engineer with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering. The ideal candidate must have between 1-4 years of experience in commercial vehicle research and development. Handling Routing and clipping for new & series management is highly valued.
We are looking for someone who has consistently demonstrated high standards in their professional performance, bringing both technical expertise and reliability to their work. Fluency in English is essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The role requires a motivated individual who thrives in teamwork, is capable of making independent decisions, and who contributes positively to a collaborative environment.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering
