Key Responsibilities:
Technical/Project Leadership:
- Leader responsible for low‑level functional verification and integrated software testing for MCM, ACM, and HTCU systems.
- Accountable for end‑to‑end Functional Safety software development and delivery for MCM/ACM in compliance with ISO 26262 guidelines.
- Lead software test strategy definition, planning, execution, and reporting across UT, MIL, and SIL, while driving efficiency initiatives to optimize cost and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with CoC‑V operating teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to adopt recommended processes, methodologies, and toolchains.
- Ensure process and quality compliance for software change management, releases, and test deliverables in alignment with the DTAG software development process.
- As a part of leadership team, ensure alignment & Implement project strategy in line with organization.
Strategy Lead cross functional activities & collaborate with leadership team as needed
People Leadership
- Act as a people leader, fostering team engagement, capability building, and career development.
- Manage day‑to‑day team operations, ensuring continuous knowledge build‑up, performance monitoring and regular feedback.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for all project and business‑related issues.
- Build organizational capability and deliver operational excellence for global powertrain software initiatives.
- Drive Innovation culture and encourage idea initiatives and publications across team for product/process improvement.
- Mentoring & coaching team to enhance their knowledge and career development
Stakeholder Management
- Responsible for effective engagement with various stakeholders and cross functional leadership team globally
Responsible to deal with global supplies who managers the SW/HW and negotiate for the best solutions for DTAG.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors/Master of Engineering (Electrical / Electronics or Computer Science Engineering)
- No of Years: 14- 18
- Type of Work: Techno functional Management
Areas of Work: Digital Verification, Embedded SW Development & Validation
Relevant Experience
- Strong Propulsion domain knowledge in the area of E/E product validation
- Experience in Propulsion Control Software Verification areas – White-box testing, Code analysis, Digital testing- MIL,SIL,HIL and OBD
- Proficiency in MathWorks and related toolchains which is extensively used in SW development & Testing
- Extensive experience in establishing functional safety at ECU level – Certification would be an added advantage
- Experience working with global /local suppliers for product development & for series introduction of components.
- Experience of SW quality standards & practices for automotive product validation, working knowhow with PCMS requirements.
- Good understanding in Manual and Automation testing.
- Project/Program Management Certification like PMP/PRINCE 2 would be an added advantage
Skills Required
- Bachelor or Master of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science
- 14-18 years of relevant experience
- Experience in digital verification, embedded software development and validation
- Strong propulsion domain knowledge in E/E product validation
- Experience in propulsion control software verification: white-box testing, code analysis, MIL, SIL, HIL, and OBD
- Proficiency with MathWorks (MATLAB/Simulink) and related toolchains
