The DTICI_Aftersales_Senior Product Design Engineer_T8 role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our Aftermarket Digital Commerce initiatives. You will play a crucial part in creating and enhancing 3D models, ensuring accurate and visually appealing representations of our products. Your expertise in NX modelling, KeyShot rendering and DTNA part documentation will be key in delivering exceptional results. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a small team, driving process improvements and innovation through digital and AI-driven approaches.
Responsibilities- Interpret engineering drawings to create high-quality 3D models for digital commerce platforms.
- Perform 3D modelling and modifications using Siemens NX, adhering to part standards.
- Execute photorealistic rendering with KeyShot, following drawing requirements.
- Ensure rendered outputs meet DTNA aftermarket standards for clarity and usability.
- Demonstrate strong drawing interpretation skills, including GD&T and tolerances.
- Navigate and utilize DTNA part documentation systems effectively.
- Manage and guide a small team of engineers, ensuring timely delivery of tasks.
- Review team outputs for technical accuracy and quality.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive standardization and automation.
- Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance rendering and modelling efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- 3-5 years of experience in 3D modelling and rendering for engineering or aftermarket applications.
- Hands-on expertise with Siemens NX modelling is essential.
- Experience with KeyShot rendering, driven by drawing specifications.
- Excellent engineering drawing reading and interpretation skills, including GD&T.
- In-depth knowledge of SMARAGD and DTNA part documentation structure.
- Proficiency in Power BI for reporting and analytics is required.
- Experience in managing or mentoring small technical teams is preferred.
- Exposure to Aftermarket or Digital Commerce platforms is an advantage.
- A strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for continuous improvement are key.
