Lead and coordinate DTFS Global IT functions supporting the head of IT (DTFS CIO) in all business capacities. Liaise and ensure alignment with DT head of IT and DTFS Chairman’s offices on strategy and organization related topics. Prepare executive updates, budget details, communications and events as required and follow up on actions and decisions with executive leadership.

What You Drive at DTFS

  • Prepare regular business communications including business updates, presentations and other items for Daimler Truck Financial Services (DTFS) executive offices and Daimler Truck global IT (including IT OpCom), and others as required. Business updates and presentations include but are not limited to IT town halls, workshops, budgets, strategy and operational updates.
  • Act as central point of contact and communication hub for DTFS CIO office activities and IT executive team. Deliver an integrated view of all IT organizational units with regards to objectives, targets and ensuring alignment. Actively gather and analyze Key Performance Indicator measures pertaining to strategic initiatives. 
  • Serve as liaison between various DTFS and Daimler Truck executive offices with regional and global departments. Support and coordinate demands related to initiatives driven by these areas.
  • Support the implementation of DTFS IT Strategy working with regional IT leadership teams and ensure alignment with DT global IT strategies. Work with regional IT Leadership to identify potential synergies and integration opportunities to realize tangible cost savings.
  • Lead the promotion of IT culture and skill development. Prepare events related to executive team building development including external speakers. Coordinate agenda for travel to global offices. Consolidate employee survey feedback and lead reviews of improvement opportunities.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • BS/BA and 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • 2 years of previous exposure to Project Management
  • Ability to collect data and establish facts and identify trends and variances
  • Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity
  • Ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics
  • Ability to communicate internally and externally with all levels of employees
  • Interpersonal and written communication as well as presentation skills
  • Influencing and negotiation skills

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • 3 years of previous experience working in IT
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Executive communication skills
  • Power point, speaking, and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in German
