Key Responsibilities
- Own the End-to-End Consumer Creative Journey: Oversee creative across all touchpoints — including paid media, email, SMS, landing pages, and product UI — ensuring consistency, clarity, accessibility and emotional resonance.
- Lead the Brand Evolution: Help guide our transition from a performance- and promotion-heavy strategy to one that's more balanced in its approach to more meaningfully embrace brand-led storytelling taking a premium lifestyle-driven orientation, and where relevant, embraces a community-focus.
- Creative Strategy & Execution: Build and execute a holistic creative strategy that fuses brand and performance marketing to drive both short-term growth and long-term brand equity.
- Team Leadership: Manage and grow a high-performing team of 5–6 designers and copywriters. Inspire, mentor, and provide strategic direction to ensure creative excellence and career growth.
- Web & Ad Creative Oversight: Direct the strategy and execution of website visuals, landing pages, and performance advertising assets (social, video, display) to align with both brand narrative and conversion goals.
- Innovate with AI: Leverage generative AI tools for ideation, content iteration, creative testing, and increased production speed — without sacrificing brand integrity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with acquisition, retention, product, and content teams to ensure creative output is aligned with business priorities and user needs.
- Data-Informed Creativity: Use insights from user behavior, campaign performance, and community engagement to iterate on creative and improve effectiveness over time.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of creative leadership experience, preferably in DTC.
- Deep experience developing both performance marketing and brand marketing creative, ideally in a high-growth digital environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating new product launches, campaign development, storytelling, and conversion-focused creative.
- Passion for fitness and wellness; understands how to speak authentically to active, wellness-minded consumers.
- Proven success leading creative teams and nurturing talent across design and copy.
- Experience managing creative for website and advertising channels with knowledge of psychology-driven design.
- A track record of supporting strategic brand evolution ideally moving up-marketing into the premium accessible category.
- Familiarity with AI creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly) and how to integrate them into the creative process.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
