The DSM (Domain Sales Manager) is responsible for driving sales activities in support of the Key Account organization and Head of Sales of Switzerland for CN & NM (Core Networks & Network Management) solution areas. This role ensures Ericsson is seen as a trusted partner by providing technical expertise, business development support, and consultative engagements across the CSS (Core & Cloud Software and Services) portfolio including Autonomous Networks Focus Area.
You will work at a strategic level, identifying leads and opportunities, and may act as Customer Solution Responsible (CSR) or Account Commercial Responsible (ACR) within the CSS Portfolio domain. The role spans specific domain engagements, with accountability for customer satisfaction and long-term profitable business growth. This position is key to underpin ongoing Ericsson success with lead customers such as Swisscom / Swisscom Group and SBB (railways).
What you will do• Identify customer business needs through consultative engagements and translate business opportunities into sales, utilizing the Ericsson portfolio and capabilities• Build and maintain customer relationships on C-level securing strategic priorities and driving customer dialogue building on existing business.• Collaborate with sales partners and third parties to define sales priorities, meet customer requirements and secure Ericsson business performance• Drive business continuity through farming (expanding existing accounts) & hunting (capturing new opportunities)• Conduct annual accounts planning and In depth business focused discussions with customer• Lead teams of Solution architects and technical experts in a matrix environment exemplifying Ericsson Leadership Principles• Ensure knowledge sharing, documentation, re-use & business continuity, support internal competence build up across CU• Bridge between Account and Domain organizations.• Monitor and control OPEX, work together with the HoSD to forecast project financials, and contribute to account financial forecasting• Drive innovation towards the customer, positioning Ericsson as thought leader • Participate in escalation management as required.• May act as ACR (Account Responsible) in agreement with Sales Organization
You will bring• University degree in Business or Engineering, master's degree would be advantageous or equivalent working experience.• Minimum 8 years' experience from Sales/ Pre-sales with exposure in customer engagements across CSS solutions• Proven portfolio expertise cross CSS• Strong financial and business understanding.• Experience in consultative selling and value-based argumentation.• Leadership ability in cross-functional and complex engagements.• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with proven ability to influence at senior levels.• Business and growth mindset, with entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.• Track record of delivering results and exceeding customer expectations.• Language skills: English (fluent) is mandatory; German is a strong advantage for customer-facing work.
This position reports to Head of CSS CU South Europe and Eurasia in CU SEE (Customer Unit South Europe & Eurasia)
