We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Mechanical Engineer I in Poestenkill, NY.

As a Mechanical Engineer I you are passionate about innovation, practical problem-solving, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions. In this role, you will design mechanical components and assemblies that support new product development, enhance existing products, and drive customer success. You’ll collaborate across R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service to bring designs from concept to reality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and document mechanical components, assemblies, and installation layouts using parametric design software (preference for Autodesk Inventor).
  • Develop customer installation plans and site layouts to ensure ease of use, safety, and reliability.
  • Maintain and update design documentation to support ongoing product production and product improvements.
  • Assemble and test prototypes and first-build projects to validate designs.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for troubleshooting, installation support, or product repairs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
  • 1–3 years of relevant engineering or design experience (internships, co-ops, or projects considered).
  • Experience with parametric design software; Autodesk Inventor strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with hands-on ability to use tools for assembly and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams and interact with customers effectively.

  • The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 per year depending on experience.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
