Job Description

Will Rogers Downs Casino in Claremore is looking for a sharp and reliable Drop Count Associate to join our dynamic team. This isn't your average desk job - you'll be the guardian of the green, ensuring every penny goes where it should. Here, you'll be more than just a number counter - you'll be ensuring the smooth flow of funds and the security of our casino floor like a Vegas vault!

What You'll Do

  • Become a Slot Machine Money Magnet: Collect overflowing cash boxes from the slots with lightning speed (think ninja reflexes!).
  • Box Swapper extraordinaire: Replace those full boxes with fresh ones, keeping the cash flow moving smoothly.
  • Fort Knox on Wheels: Securely transport those precious boxes in your high-security cart - you're basically a vault on the move!
  • Machine Master: With a keen eye, ensure all the slot machine doors are shut tight for maximum security.
  • Lockdown Specialist: After each drop, become a master of the lock and key, securing your cart to keep the cash safe.
  • Time is Money: Complete your drop runs efficiently and meet those deadlines - every second counts!
  • Cash Sorting Sensei: Unleash your inner organizer and meticulously sort and count the day's earnings, from chips to bills.
  • Gear Up: Suit up in your company uniform, steel-toed shoes for safety, and a dust mask for a clean count.
  • Eagle-Eyed Auditor: Count and record more than just cash! Bill changers, ticket machines, and even cigarettes - you'll be a watchful guardian of all assets.
  • Security Sidekick: Follow the casino's strict count and drop procedures to ensure everything is above board.
  • Cash Transfer Champion: Prepare those funds for secure transfer - every penny is accounted for!
  • Balancing Act Master: Balance the bank like a pro at specific times, ensuring the Cage verifies your counts for ultimate accuracy.
  • Tech-Savvy Sorter: Input all that cash information into the casino's high-tech system - data entry is your superpower!
  • Equipment Whisperer: Keep those machines running smoothly with basic maintenance when needed.
  • Cleanliness Crusader: Dust, organize, and keep your workspace sparkling - a clean workspace is a happy workspace!

You're a Perfect Fit If

  • You've Got Our Back: You take pride in protecting the casino's assets - every chip and dollar bill matters!
  • Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: You believe in a positive and helpful environment, both for your team and for guests.
  • Cash Confidence: You're comfortable handling large sums of money with accuracy and care.
  • Communication Champion: You can clearly explain things in writing and verbally, ensuring everyone's on the same page.
  • Pressure Makes Diamonds: You thrive in fast-paced situations and always meet those deadlines with a smile.
  • Tech-Savvy Enough: You're comfortable using basic computer programs to keep things running smoothly.
  • Licensed to Count: You're ready to obtain the necessary gaming licenses to become a vital part of our team. (Focus on the positive aspect - becoming part of the team!)
  • Hit the Road (Safely): A valid driver's license is needed for some essential tasks.

What We Offer

  • Choice of four medical plans with prescription coverage and wellness programs.
  • Dental and vision plans are available.
  • Telemedicine: Access healthcare 24/7, no matter where you are!
  • Company-paid life and disability insurance for peace of mind.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Free 24/7 support for you and your family.
  • Invest in your future with a 401(k)-retirement plan with a generous company match (up to 6%).
  • Earned Wage Access (EWA) gets you paid before your payday.
  • Paid time off: Vacation, sick leave, bereavement leave, and holidays.
  • Welcome new arrivals with paid maternity and paternity leave.
  • Earn extra as an hourly employee through our quarterly incentive program.

Work Environment

  • Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled environment with some exposure to smoke and loud noise.
  • Requires physical exertion during the performance of the majority of the duties. Work is performed while standing, walking, or sitting with occasional need to lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle, and feel.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Job is very physically demanding.

Schedule (5:15 AM every other day until finished)

  • Job Week 1: Grove: Sat, Mon, Wed, Fri
