What You'll Be Doing
- Operate drilling equipment to support underground aggregate quarry production activities
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure safe operation
- Follow drill patterns and specifications to achieve accurate blasting outcomes
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate drilling schedules and production goals
- Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

- Demonstrated ability to safely operate drilling or heavy equipment in an industrial setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Ability to follow technical instructions, layouts, and drilling plans
- Dependable work ethic with the flexibility to adapt to changing production needs
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
What We Offer
$28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year)
