What You'll Be Doing- Operate roof bolting and drilling equipment to support safe underground quarry operations
- Install roof support systems according to mine plans, safety standards, and procedures
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Work closely with the production team to support safe, efficient material extraction
- Follow all safety, environmental, and operational guidelines at all times
- Demonstrated capability to safely operate drilling and roof bolting equipment in an underground environment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and hazard awareness
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify equipment issues
- Ability to read and follow mine plans, procedures, and safety requirements
- Dependable team‑oriented individual with effective communication skills
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
- $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year)
