DRAM Product Engineer for LPDDR DRAM, System Level Test

Main responsibilities of the position are the following and deep knowledge and skills both for LPDRAM (LPDDR5 and upcoming LPDDR6) and mobile system are required for this position

Key Responsibilities:

　・For improving LPDRAM quality, create and maintain System Level testing(SLT) environment, by using especially software and hardware skills for mobile systems.

　・Create new system memory tests to detect the failure LPDRAM products unknown within our company, for example customer RMA.

　・For analyzing LPDRAM operation and setting on mobile systems, investigate mobile systems and firmware by using software skills and hardware tools, such as Logic Analyzer, Protocol Analyzer, and Oscilloscope.

　・Improve testing coverage, quality and on LPDRAM products by analyzing failure products on the mobile system.

Required Skills:

　・About 10 years or more experience with DRAM and mobile systems with programming skills in C/C++, C#, and python etc.

　・About 10 years or more experience for analyzing DRAM on mobile systems by software or hardware tools, such as Logic Analyzer, Protocol Analyzer, and Oscilloscope.

　・About 5 years or more experience in disassembling, assembling, and setting up mobile systems.

　・High communication skills in English (and Japanese) are desirable.

General responsibilities:

DRAM Testing

　・Improve testing coverage, quality and on DRAM products

　・Utilize state-of-art in house engineering equipment to support product characterization and electrical failure analysis

　・Develop creative testing algorithms to improve testing efficiency

Product Yield Enhancement and Quality improvement

　・Identify causes of low yield and quality issues through systematic analysis

　・Work closely with various engineering groups in resolving process/defects related issues

　・Perform electrical/physical failure analysis to understand the failure mechanism relating to defects / fab process

　・Utilize statistical tools for detailed data analysis on product to drive yield improvement projects

DRAM Products

　・Develop high quality and cost-efficient DRAM test strategies and methodology

　・Collaborate with test engineering teams to define and secure necessary test fixtures for memory and system testing

　・Conduct electrical failure analysis of the DRAM products through different phases of the product life cycling such as qualification, high volume manufacturing and customer returns

　・Extensive usage of data parsing and data analysis for improving yields, test times and quality of the products
