Join us as an experienced Drainlayer and be a part of the growing water works within the Auckland Region. You will support the Stormwater team by running the day-to-day operations which will have you involved in trenching, installing and evaluating piping including plant resources and liaising with your crew and subcontractors.
In addition to the above you will:

Check pipe gradients for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers

Lay out pipe routes, following written instructions or blueprints and coordinating layouts with supervisors.

Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools.

Excavate and dig trenches along areas marked on the plans.

Work across any 7 days of the week, including weekends if required

We’re looking for someone with:
-
Minimum Current class 2 licence, ideally with WTR endorsement
-
Drain laying experience or Certified Drainlayer is preferred
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Drainlayer
-
Understands principals and technology of drain laying is required
