Here’s what you will do:

• Produce drawings, layouts, and/or diagrams from sketches, existing drawings, electronic images, design concepts and/or verbal instructions using AutoCAD and/or Microstation.

• Maintain and update schematics or drawings in an organized and timely manner.

• Responsible for review and interpretation of field notes and sketches to incorporate into Construction and As-built drawings.

• Uses professional communication when working with internal stakeholders and external consultants to provide information on drawing requests, interpretations and statuses.

• Work with UST Drawing Controllers to ensure the integrity of defined technical drawing and metadata quality within the EDM system.

• Search, locate, retrieve, export, check-in and check-out drawings using the EDM system.

Who you are:

You have:

• Related Technology Diploma/Certification.

• Minimum 2 or more years of direct experience in oil and gas industry.

• Intermediate system knowledge of AutoDesk suite of products, MS Office Suite of products, EDM systems

You are:

• Organized, detail oriented, strong critical thinking abilities, reliable.

• Ability to work both individually and in a team structure.

• Self-starter/motivator.

Working Conditions:

• Requires prolonged time sitting; prolonged screen time exposure.

• Typical office environment with up to 25% domestic travel.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
