About The Opportunity
Responsible for working with internal and external customers to identify needs and requirements in effort to translate them into a manufacturable design that is produced at the highest standard of quality while maintaining profitability and cost efficiency.1. Engage and learn the technical skills/knowledge/ judgment needed to ensure designs meets our customer's specific needs.
2. Gain knowledge of all ORBIS materials and work instructions.
3. Provide design support for custom and proprietary product development.
4. Perform “Design for Manufacturing” & standard check doc process as required.
5. Manages multiple projects effectively while communicating regularly to stakeholders in meeting project timing commitments.
6. Ensure project requirements are clear/customer needs are met/vetting projects as needed when information is vague or not available.
7. Design products per ORBIS standards/guidelines.
8. Operate cutting table to cut out mockups.
9. Develop a working knowledge of, and utilize design/CAD software, including shippers, fillers etc.
10. Other duties as assigned.
