Reporting to the Engineer Manager, you as a Product Engineer will be responsible to prepare technical drawings and plans.
About the job:Creates drawings based on Pro-E models or markups of existing drawings.
Creates symbols and other artwork for transfer stamps and laser etching.
Creates customer drawings, catalog line art and 3D models as requested by Sales.
Organizes and leads internal Pro-E users group.
Revises part and assembly models under direction of product and design engineers.
Provides support for drafting and design personnel in other locations.
Supports product and cost improvement projects.
Develops and prints overlays for part inspection.
Transfer and control of Pro-E work back and forth from, and support of our CMZ Drafting and NPD personnel and support of our North American contract designers.
Participation in the Windchill/PDM Link implementation project team.
Establishment and documentation of corporate drafting standards.
Provide drafting and technical support for CEP NPD group.
Provide 2-D customer drawings and 3-D models for customer use.
Provide artwork “proofs” for switch symbols to Sales for customer approval.
Chair in-house Pro-E user group meetings.
Coordinate efforts to migrate documentation from 2-D (Graphite) to 3-D solid model driven (Pro-E).
Performs other duties as assigned by the Product Engineering Manager.
Location: Matehuala, S.L.P.
Associate degree in engineering/CAD or two (2) plus years of equivalent work experience.
Ability to use Auto CAD.
Pro E knowledge/experience
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Illustrator.
Experience with 2D and 3D drafting forms.
Detail oriented.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
