Summary: Completes details of design concepts of engineering proposals to develop designs for products by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Uses 3-D modeling to make changes in current designs under the supervision of more senior designers. 
  • Uses 3-D models to create new drawings and revises drawings as necessary.

Education and/or Experience:                                                 

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or 1-2 years related experience or training. 

Language Skills:                                              

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical manuals, procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:                                                    

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:                                           

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this Job associated within the plant area, the employee is occasionally required to be able to maneuver his/her body over or around our product in a stationary setting, including climbing or traversing the product.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet except when performing duties in the factory where standard PPE earing protection is provided and required.

The pay range for this role is $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.
