Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility for a Drafter is to create complete and accurate detailing deliverables (drawings, shop details, BOMs, etc.) while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery in support of customer specific requirements. This role requires demonstrated knowledge of metal building products and standards until high complexity, drafting processes, and detailing tools including AutoCAD while providing focus on product accuracy, on time delivery and added customer value.
QualificationsRequirements
- 3-5 years of experience in metal building drafting or a related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD and strong PC, Microsoft Office, and general technology competency
- Excellent command of English and Spanish (B2+ level).
- Comprehensive understanding of the US customary units system.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and the capability to multitask and work on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Solid interpersonal and leadership abilities.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with Tekla Structures and Trimble Connect software, including checking Tekla drawings and BOMs.
- Architectural drafting degree or equivalent.
Certifications
- Relevant industry certifications are highly valued.
