What you'll do:

As a DPO Administrator at MUFG in Manila, your day-to-day activities will centre around supporting critical back-office functions that keep banking operations running smoothly. You will be entrusted with handling sensitive financial documents—verifying their accuracy, preparing them for processing, capturing essential data using specialised software tools, and ensuring everything aligns with regulatory requirements. Your ability to communicate effectively will be key as you respond to queries about return items or collaborate with colleagues when additional information is needed. By leveraging technology and adhering strictly to compliance protocols, you will help maintain the integrity of MUFG’s processes while also developing valuable analytical skills.   • Manage check clearing operations, including verification, processing, and monitoring of inward and outward clearing transactions in accordance with PCHC Rules.
  • Handle time deposit placements ensuring proper documentation, booking, and compliance with applicable procedures and client’s instruction.
  • Prepares bank certificates and confirmations, ensuring accuracy and timely issuance based on client requests.
  • Perform over-the-counter transactions, including check deposits and BIR payments, ensuring proper validation and customer service standards are met.
  • Support the processing of all incoming and outgoing items by verifying, capturing, inputting, and sorting documents with precision and care.
  • Prepare documentation using standard tools and equipment to ensure accurate item processing in line with established procedures.
  • Handle the preparation and capture of incoming cash letters, maintaining meticulous records throughout each stage of the process.
  • Identify cases that require additional information or clarification, collaborating with colleagues to resolve outstanding issues efficiently.
  • Verify document accuracy at every step to uphold the highest standards of quality control within banking operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with industry standards, regional regulations, and internal policies by following best practices in all tasks performed.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries regarding the routing and disposition of return items, providing clear information as needed.
  • Leverage available technology such as Microsoft Windows applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) to maximise efficiency in daily responsibilities.
  • Engage inclusively with team members across departments to foster a positive work environment built on trust and mutual respect.
