We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to develop go to market strategies for Stryker's Sustainability Solutions. This individual will be responsible for driving the annual marketing strategy with emphasis on ASC market. The role requires building strong relationships with customers and collaborating closely with the sales team to deliver impactful results. Success in this position demands comfort in a fast-paced, competitive environment and the ability to balance multiple priorities with excellence.

In this role, you will be required to travel up to 40%. Some months are heavier than others based on trade shows. Our ideal candidate is located within close proximity to a Stryker facility, as this role will require periodic travel to those locations.

What you will do

​​Competitive and Customer Insights 

  • ​Able to interpret competitive analysis and incorporate into marketing strategies across different channels (ASC, Distribution) 

  • ​Compares, contrasts, and anticipates the different types of competition that will be faced in the future. 

  • ​Monitors market activity, penetration and competitive wins or losses against key competitors. 

  • ​Tailors marketing strategies to meet both current and future customer needs.  

​Value Prop Segmentation 

  • ​Drives segmentation methods to improve commercial efficiency. 

  • ​Ensures ASC-specific messaging is tailored, aligned with, and reinforces broader business priorities and key messages. 

  • ​Executes on the segmentation variable and seeks evidence that focus on the segmentation variable delivers competitive advantage. 

​Value Prop Targeting & Positioning 

  • ​Leads the value proposition development work including the following components: customer beliefs and behaviors, main and dynamic variables and reasons to believe brand value. 

  • ​Develops clearly written targeting and positioning statements that align the strategic and executional plans and commercial resources for execution.  

​Marketing Objective 

  • ​Understands loyalty composition of the customer base. 

  • ​Understands market dynamics that may impact Marketing Objectives in the future and makes proactive recommendations to marketing strategy anticipating future market. 

​Strategic Objective 

  • ​Defines opportunity and estimates effort to target the various ownership structures within the ASC market. 

  • ​Continually monitors and evaluates current market strategy and makes recommendations on new source of volume strategies. 

​Effectiveness Measurement 

  • ​Establishes metrics and goals/success criteria and milestones. 

  • ​Establishes short-range and long-range improvement goals for own function and develops action plans to achieve those goals.

  • ​Mentors, develops and influences across the business, intentionally building cross-divisional relationships. 

  • ​Demonstrates financial acumen. 

  • ​Develops key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions, in collaboration with other marketing leaders.

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • USN: $118,000 - $196,700 USD Annual
  • US5: $123,900 - $206,500 USD Annual
  • US10: $129,800 - $216,400 USD Annual
  • US15: $135,700 - $226,200 USD Annual
  • US20: $141,600 - $236,000 USD Annual
  • US30: $153,400 - $255,700 USD Annual
