We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Director of Nursing in Training Program, a leadership development opportunity designed for nurses who aspire to grow into a Director of Nursing role.

This program is designed to prepare future nursing leaders to oversee clinical operations, support care teams, and uphold the highest standards of resident care across our senior living communities.

The Director of Nursing in Training Program is a structured development experience lasting approximately 6 to 12 months. Participants gain practical exposure to the essential responsibilities of nursing leadership while working closely with seasoned clinical professionals.

• Nursing leadership and team development
• Clinical operations and quality improvement
• Regulatory compliance and survey readiness
• Budgeting and financial stewardship
• Resident-centered care and service excellence

• Individual mentorship from experienced Directors of Clinical Services
• Guidance and support from Vetter's Clinical Advisory Council
• Interactive learning through workshops, online education, simulations, and real-world experiences
• Assistance pursuing ANAAC Director of Nursing Certification
• Opportunity for placement as a Director of Nursing within the Vetter organization upon successful completion of the program
• Relocation to a Vetter community will be required at program completion

To be considered, candidates should possess:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• At least five years of long-term care nursing experience
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Flexibility and willingness to relocate within the Vetter Senior Living network
• A passion for professional growth, leadership development, and exceptional senior care
