JOB PURPOSE:
As the Product Owner for Manufacturing within our Data, AI, and Analytics organization, you will take ownership of the development and deployment of data and analytics solutions tailored to the Manufacturing function. This role focuses on managing the product backlog, coordinating with agile teams, and ensuring delivery of high-value features to drive efficiency and innovation in manufacturing operations. Through this focused responsibility, the Product Owner will play a critical role in shaping how the firm leverages technology to optimize manufacturing processes and adapt to industry advancements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. 1. Product Backlog Management:

• Develop and manage the product backlog for manufacturing data and analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with global business objectives.

• Gather and prioritize requirements, translating them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

1. Agile Execution and Coordination:

• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure user stories, sprints, and releases are effectively planned and executed.

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings to facilitate smooth agile execution.

1. Stakeholder Engagement and Requirements Gathering:

• Work with business stakeholders in the Manufacturing function to understand their needs and priorities, documenting detailed requirements.

• Ensure stakeholder alignment through continuous communication and feedback loops.

1. Product Feature Development:

• Define, prioritize, and maintain the product roadmap for manufacturing tech products.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality releases of product features.

1. Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on performance data and feedback.

1. Market Research and Innovation:

• Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify trends and opportunities for innovation in manufacturing technologies.

• Advocate for new technologies and methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
Education:

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

Work Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in product ownership, focusing on manufacturing, supply chain, or related industrial operations.

• Proven track record of working in cross-functional teams to deliver complex data and analytics solutions.

• Experience in agile methodologies and working within SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment is a plus.

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) / SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) are advantageous..

Technical knowledge, Abilities & Skills:

• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial automation, and data analytics technologies.

• Strong ability to communicate technical requirements to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.

• Proficiency in using agile tools such as Azure DevOps for managing backlogs and sprints.

• Experience with cloud platforms and modern manufacturing technologies is a plus.
