Project Description

As Domain QA Engineer – Procurement, you will safeguard the quality of critical procurement and business flows (e.g. sourcing & buying, forecasting) that span multiple teams and systems.  You will combine hands-on testing, test automation, cross-team coordination, and coaching to improve release confidence across the Procurement domain.

You will start within the QA Platform team to align tools, standards, and automation practices, then work closely with Procurement product teams to help them apply these practices effectively. Your focus will be both strategic and practical: defining quality approaches for end-to-end flows, contributing to automation, supporting risk-based manual validation where needed, and helping teams become more self-sufficient in quality ownership.

Job Description:
Summary of responsibilities, scope of the role, and key expectations.

  • You will be the key quality advocate within the domain, ensuring quality for key end-to-end flows or customer journeys and promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement in the teams that build these flows/journeys.

  • Drive cross-team test coordination, test data readiness, and validation activities for critical end-to-end flows where required.

  • Build, own, and drive the test plan for the Procurement domain, ensuring strong coverage of key functionality and critical end-to-end customer and business flows spanning multiple teams and systems

  • Build and maintain automated API, integration, and end-to-end tests, and guide engineers in strengthening unit-level and component-level coverage.

  • Enable & accelerate teams to deliver quality by promoting strong testing practices and improving test coverage.

  • Provide fast, actionable feedback on releases, bugs, and new features before they reach production.

  • Identify quality risks early and work with the team to resolve them proactively.

  • Collaborate with the QA Platform Team and contribute to continuously improving tools, processes, end-to-end validation activities, and ways of working.

  • Participate in team ceremonies and actively contribute to improving ways of working.

Must have Requirements:

  • Strong experience in risk based test approaches for complex features, services, or end-to-end flows

  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, preferably Playwright, Typescript or AccelQ for reliable and maintainable test automation.

  • Experience supporting and coordinating end-to-end testing activities, including the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, for large-scale product initiatives, releases, and market rollouts.

  • Familiarity with Cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform

  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with OracleFusion Cloud.

  • Experience with S&P or warehouse management systems and order management systems.

  • Experience with SLIM4 or any other procurement tools.

Soft Skills & Mindset:

  • Able to operate across multiple teams and systems, with the ability to understand and validate complex end-to-end business and customer flows

  • Strong communicator with stakeholder management skills: able to challenge engineers and teams on whether they’re testing the right things

  • Experienced facilitator with coordination skills for supporting cross-team test sessions and release validation activities

  • Coaches engineers and teams on test design, automation practices, risk-based testing, and quality ownership, with the goal of making teams increasingly self-sufficient.

  • Automation-first, but pragmatic: understands that not everything can or should be automated; values manual testing where it adds real insight

  • Focus on knowledge transfer: long-term goal is self-sufficient teams; they should actively build capability, not dependency

  • Resilient to change and uncertainty. This is a new role in the company, and we invite you to help shape it with us

  • Fluent in English

Nice to have Requirements:

  • Experience with shift-left testing and early requirement-level test discussions.

  • Experience with Zephyr or similar test management tooling.

  • ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent practical understanding of test design techniques and testing types.

  • Experience with test data management, contract testing, observability, or reducing flaky tests.

  • Experience with test reporting tooling like AllureTestOps.
