Role Purpose/Summary:

Provide subject matter expertise to best position Sensia to serve the domain. Drive application and adaptation of Sensia technology delighting the customer through the application of knowledge to assure the solution best aligns with the need, and to propose new ways of working for customers to maximize ROI . Steer sales and solutions team to best fight for opportunities aligning Sensia technology with customer value creation, throughout the lifecycle of the product and/or service. Augment project teams as required applying knowledge to assure the solution configuration meets requirements. With each application of technology, identify feature requirements which you input into the team .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop intimate knowledge of the technology and tools, and the domain for which they serve.
  • Provide domain expertise guiding technology development for features which best create value.
  • Contribute to developing product feature roadmaps and strategies together with Product and Solutions Owners
  • Augment pursuit teams, providing domain expertise to crystallize the value of solutions for Sensia’s customers.
  • Active participation in industry associations, create stories, author white papers creating domain image for Sensia
  • Oversight of project team solution configurations applying expertise to ensure the application settings and configurations are accomplished correctly (set points, ranges, alarming, control logic)
  • Support local teams and clients with analysis and interpretation of technology outcomes, and work with the training organization to ensure knowledgebase is maintained and enhanced over time
  • Conduct training as driven by growth plans
  • Actively participate with sales performing demos and engage in client meetings as required.
  • Participate in IP development, setting strategies, participating in patent teams creating differentiation for Sensia solutions in the discipline.

Required Qualifications/experience:

  • 10 years experience in engineering roles in specific discipline
  • Field experience in Oil and Gas applications in the discipline
  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate type of engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical etc.)
  • Experience or comfortable with digital technologies such as IT (databases, basic programming, BI Tools), and basic IoT conceptsAn analytical mind
  • An ability to work in a process driven team environment
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Commercial and business awareness

Other

  • International travel will be part of this role. It is expected to be approximately 15-30% of the time.
