The ideal Dog Trainer candidate has…
- Previous experience as a dog trainer
- A passion for working with dogs and a commitment to positive reinforcement training methods
- Availability for a full-time schedule, Sunday and Tuesday required
What you’ll do:
- Conduct individual and on-leash group training sessions for dogs of varying ages and breeds
- Evaluate and address behavioral issues using positive reinforcement techniques
- Educate pet owners on effective training methods and techniques
- Stay updated on the latest training trends and methodologies
- Ensure a safe and positive training environment for both dogs and owners
- Facilitate intermediate training classes and above
- Ability to create individualized training programs based on client needs
What you’ll bring:
- Positive reinforcement training background
- CPDT-KA Training Certification preferred or minimum of 100 hours training experience
