Responsibilities
- Coordinate privacy compliance related activities for SDD supported efforts to ensure compliance with the E-Government (E-Gov) Act of 2002, Section 208, OMB M-03-22, Privacy Act of 1974 and DoDI 5400.16.
- Serve as the Privacy Compliance Liaison to various entities to include the DHA Privacy and Civil Liberties Office (PCLO) and the PEO MS - CIO J6 / Risk Management Executive Division
- Analyze and provide feedback regarding how Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI) is utilized to ensure data handling conforms to applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.
- Maintain a central repository for all Privacy Compliance documentation to include Privacy Impact Assessment (PIAs), Data Sharing Agreements (DSAs) and Social Security Number Justification (SSNJ) memorandum.
- Maintain centralized tracking tools consisting of the status of PIA and DSA for all SDD supported efforts.
- Conduct analysis to establish and maintain meaningful metrics to inform Privacy Compliance status and possible process improvements for implementation as necessary.
- Develop and maintain templates and process assets associated with Privacy Compliance
- Provide Privacy Compliance training as necessary to help inform SDD staff of corresponding activities and lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of project experience.
- Knowledge and experience with DoD Privacy Compliance and Acquisition management processes, tools, and techniques.
- Knowledge of the PMBOK® process inputs, tools and techniques, outputs preferred.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Excellent organizational and both oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with a team, execute tasks and projects in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to write and present effective project materials, presentations, status-reporting, etc.
Basic Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 yearly salary
The salary offered within this range will be based on the selected candidates’ skills, experience, education, market data, and internal parity. DLH may offer other rewards that may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. An applicant’s salary history will not be used to determine compensation.
Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
