Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Program Management Support who has a proven track record of exceeding expectations and providing world-class service to high-level personnel.

The role of Program Management Support is to provide specialized program management support in various tasks related to program execution, financial management, stakeholder coordination, and data analysis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our programs and initiatives.


Essential Functions:

Advanced Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Apply expert-level Excel techniques (Formulas, XLookup, Slicers, Conditional Formatting) to manipulate and visualize large datasets
  • Perform regression, trend, sensitivity, and Pareto analyses to guide strategic funding decisions
  • Use Power BI to develop dashboards and analytics tailored to DoD program performance metrics

Acquisition Workforce & DAWDA Program Support

  • Collaborate with defense agencies and enterprise users to implement DAWDA strategies for acquisition workforce development
  • Interpret and support funding execution aligned with workforce objectives such as recruitment, training, and retention

Process Improvement & Business Optimization

  • Analyze existing workflows across the program to identify inefficiencies or gaps
  • Lead process redesign efforts to increase operational effectiveness and responsiveness
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements to gather actionable requirements

Budget Development & Fiscal Oversight

  • Develop and track funding requirements and allocations across DoD entities
  • Manage program budgets, monitor available funding for Unfunded Requirements (UFRs), and validate balances using official financial systems
  • Recommend distribution of UFR funds and provide financial status updates to Government Points of Contact

Financial Systems & Compliance

  • Maintain program transaction records in Government-approved systems (e.g., Defense Agencies Initiative, or similar platforms)
  • Ensuring financial data aligns with DoD audit readiness and fiscal compliance standards
  • Reconcile transactions with authoritative system reports regularly to maintain accuracy

Program Lifecycle Support

  • Provide POM guidance and submission instructions for budget proposals and planning cycles
  • Conduct execution analyses for individual programs and propose adjustments to Program Managers based on status and forecast shifts

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as a liaison with DAWDA Managers, PMs, and technical teams to share program updates and strategic guidance
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination to support enterprise-level funding and acquisition initiatives
  • Delivering training and documentation that increases user and stakeholder understanding of systems and processes

Project Planning & Risk Management

  • Lead planning and scheduling for programming milestones aligned with federal lifecycle methodologies
  • Track project progress and dependencies, proactively identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies
Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Project or Program Management (DoD preferred)
  • 3-5 years of project management (preferred)
  • Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience with acquisition lifecycle, funding accounts, and federal budgeting
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (XLookup, VLookup, slicers, conditional formatting) is a must
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
  • Excellent customer-facing skills; writing and verbal communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a Favorable Background Check

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Project or Program Management
  • DoD experience (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of project management experience (preferred)
  • Well versed in lifecycle and project management methodologies
