About the Role:We’re looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Document Centre Associate to join the Lawhive team. As a core member of our Mail Room Team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth handling and processing of incoming physical documents and parcels and the preparation and dispatch of sensitive, high-value client documents. Additionally, you’ll help support on courier logistics and provide ad-hoc support to our Lawyer Support team as required.
This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced start-up environment, contributing to our collaborative and mission-driven culture.
Please note: This role requires you to be in our London office 5-days per week.
What You’ll Be Doing:Opening, reviewing, and processing incoming envelopes and parcels delivered to our central London office.
Carefully scanning all documents and envelope contents into our internal software system
Organising scanned documents into folders with clearly labelled slip sheets for easy identification and reference.
Assistinng with general mailroom and office document handling duties, including receiving courier deliveries, moving files, and preparing bins for secure document destruction.
Working with our Lawyer Support team to provide administrative support as needed
Providing occasional support with small-scale printing, posting, or document copying tasks for the legal team (as required).
Ensuring all documents are handled with the highest level of care, security, and confidentiality at all times.
Please note that this role is on-site 5 days per week at our central London location, and you will work alongside a small team who will be similarly office-based every week on-site.
Requirements:A high level of diligence, with a process-first approach to tasks and an ability to follow clear procedures and processes to perform services to a high standard and meet key deadlines.
Strong organisation and problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for detail.
A team-first attitude with a willingness to adapt and support colleagues as needed.
Previous experience in a mail room, scanning, or document management role is a plus but not essential.
Comfortable working in a physical office environment and performing hands-on tasks.
