We are seeking an experienced Documentation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining documentation and documentation storage processes to ensure that the Company’s policies, procedures, and internal documentation are safeguarded and current.

COMPENSATION:

  • $25.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

  • Oversee the maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policies and Procedures (P&Ps) for debt settlement and operational processes. 

  • Implement and oversee version control systems for all documentation. 

  • Ensure all documents are updated according to Company standards. 

  • Review and edit documents for clarity and consistency as needed once updates are provided from department contacts.

  • Implement and maintain a document control system to track changes and approvals. 

  • Work closely with other departments such as Compliance, Servicing, Sales, and Operations to gather and validate information. 

  • Provide guidance on documentation best practices across the organization. 

  • Maintain a regular audit process to inquire about policy and procedure updates, ensuring that documentation is kept current.

  • Develop and implement a communication strategy to notify relevant stakeholders of documentation changes promptly. 

  • Follow all policies and procedures for the department and Company, including personnel policies and expectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT:

  • Highschool diploma or GED 

  • 2+ years of experience in documentation management or technical writing, preferably in the financial services or debt settlement industry 

  • Proficiency in document management software and version control systems 

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail 

  • Experience in creating SOPs, P&Ps, and other technical documentation 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Proactive approach to maintaining documentation accuracy and relevance 

  • Ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies for documentation updates

Job Title: Documentation Specialist

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, Onsite
