Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Document Services Operative to join our Document Management Operations Centre (DMOC) team. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively managing, digitising, indexing, and archiving business-critical information for our clients within tight deadlines and stringent workflow processes. You will collaborate closely as part of an established operations team under the direction of the Small Format Team Leader to ensure seamless customer information management.
In this role, you will:
- Perform accurate document preparation, high-volume scanning, and precision indexing to digitise client information into document management systems in line with strict customer SLAs.
- Collaborate with team members, line management, and key stakeholders to communicate work progress, maintain positive customer relationships, and continuously identify operational improvement opportunities.
- Ensure strict compliance with site Health and Safety regulations, including safe manual handling practices for lifting and archiving document media, as well as adhering to non-conformance quality reporting standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Practical experience in data entry, document scanning, or using document management systems (or strong transferable technical skills).
- Strong knowledge of general IT systems, accurate keyboard skills, and working proficiency with MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability in high attention to detail, quality control, customer service, and effective written and verbal communication.
- Strong foundational numeracy and literacy skills, with a methodical, quality-focused approach to problem-solving.
