This role is based in our Atlanta, Charlotte, or Miramar office, on a hybrid basis. This role reports to the Manager, Document Management and Cloud Services.
Position Summary
The Document Management System Administrator plays a key role in managing and optimizing the firm's iManage Work system. Building on foundational knowledge of document management, this role involves advanced troubleshooting, system configuration, and support for users and IT projects. The Administrator will collaborate with the IT team and internal stakeholders to enhance workflows, ensure data integrity, and implement new features. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience supporting and maintaining iManage Work 9/10 and related applications including RAVN, WCS, Mobility, iManage Control Center, etc. The candidate should be adaptable and eager to learn and grow with the Firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Participates in the implementation and maintenance of multiple business critical applications that make up iManage Work and associated applications, including Work Server, RAVN, Mobility, iManage Control Center and other integrated applications
- Monitors system status and performance, performs basic server-side troubleshooting and maintenance tasks, reports issues to senior IT staff, and helps generate usage and performance metrics
- Works with senior IT team members on system upgrades, testing, and the implementation of new features or integrations
- Performs administrative tasks and project activities as directed
- Troubleshoots complex technical issues related to iManage Work and escalates to vendors or senior staff as needed
- Assists with importing documents, ensuring data integrity and adherence to firm policies
- Provides basic training and support to users on system features and workflows
- Creates and maintains technical documentation, including implementation checklists, system configuration and process diagrams, and troubleshooting guides
- Participates in a rolling on-call support schedule
- Adheres to all IT and user quality assurance practices
- Makes recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Appears on camera for meetings with colleagues and vendors
- Performs other tasks as set by the manager

Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with an ability to effectively set priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, including the use of active listening and the ability to convey information clearly in both written and verbal communication
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems and adapt to changing technologies
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting technical issues
- A working knowledge of computer networking
- The person in this role is expected to be available after-hours in an emergency
Education & Prior Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent experience
- Experience with system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
- At least 2 years of experience supporting a document management system, preferably iManage Work or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of document management principles and workflows, especially in a legal or professional services environment
- Solid knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly integrations with document management systems
- Familiarity with data security standards and compliance requirements, such as ISO 27001 or similar frameworks preferred
- Knowledge of SQL, PowerShell or other data management or automation tools a plus
