Job Overview:

The Doc Imaging Services Specialist at LPL Financial Corp is responsible for the accurate and efficient scanning, indexing, and quality control of a high volume of financial documents, ensuring their integrity and accessibility within the company's digital imaging system.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate high-speed document scanners to convert physical documents into digital images.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on scanned images to ensure clarity, completeness, and legibility.
  • Accurately index and categorize digital documents using predefined naming conventions and metadata.
  • Identify and resolve document imaging errors, including missing pages, poor image quality, or incorrect indexing.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot scanning equipment, performing routine cleaning and minor adjustments.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding data privacy, security, and document retention.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing and delivery of imaged documents.
  • Assist in the retrieval and distribution of digital documents as requested.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the document imaging department.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in document imaging, scanning, or data entry, preferably within a financial services environment.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferences:

  • Proficient in operating high-volume document scanners and related software.
  • Experience with document management systems is a plus (Documentum and Adobe Pro).
  • Familiarity with financial documents and terminology is a plus.
  • Excel and Sharepoint experience for tracking data and reporting.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes of documents (up to 25 lbs) as needed.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.

 

Pay Range:

$16.24-$27.04/hour
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
