The Document Control Associate role supports the accuracy and integrity of bill of materials, revision control, and item master data for Polymer and Fluid processing equipment. This position partners with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and sales teams to maintain ERP data, process revisions, and drive consistency and standardization across product information.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Product Design (90%)
- Standard conversion of BOMs for purchasing and manufacturing.
- Processing BOM revisions.
- Reviewing and assigning ERP numbers.
- Maintain item data.
- Work with aftermarket sales and new product sales to create new items in ERP
- Driving and maintaining consistency and accuracy in the ERP program.
Continuous Improvement (10%)
- Supporting project based projects to drive standardization and simplification.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft office.
- Strong technical orientation, with ability to understand functionality and application of Nordson EDI products
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Must have strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with internal and external customers, suppliers and co-workers in a team based environment
- 2-5 years of Dynamics AX/365 experience
- Must have ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently with minimal direction
- Must have good communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
