Overview & Responsibilities
The Document Control Assistant is responsible for ensuring Elliott complies with our customer documentation requirements as defined by the Project Engineer per customer specifications, and internal departmental procedures. The Document Control Assistant will function as a member of the Document Control team and work alongside engineering teams ensuring the successful completion of projects through logging customer returns
Duties and responsibilities will involve any combination of the following depending on major or minor role:

Comprehend and execute to project/customer specifications as defined by Project Engineering and Document Control Supervisor

Maintain customer requirements related to their specific websites including login credentials, user guides and work instructions

Reviewing, processing, tracking and expediting of all submittals received from customers

Utilize PLM (Product Life cycle Management) system to create, load and maintain project documentation across multiple Elliott product lines

Maintain position related computer and other general clerical duties as required.
Qualifications

A team player that communicates and presents self in a manner that builds positive relationships with co-workers, customers, and management.

Ability to juggle competing priorities, attention to detail in high pressure situations, providing high quality, on-time deliverables.

Ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe PDF (converting & modifying pdf's). Experience using document management software such as Windchill is highly desirable

Ability to learn quickly, understanding each customer's specific requirements and websites once trained

Experience managing large email database
-
Previous document control experience preferred but not required
-
5 years’ experience with any combination of school and/or work, in relatable field
