WWPS is seeking a Dock Coordinator to support a large-scale semiconductor construction project in Burlington, Vermont. This role is critical to managing high-volume deliveries, coordinating trade access, and maintaining efficient material flow on a fast-paced, schedule-driven jobsite. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of operating in a dynamic construction environment with multiple stakeholders.
This is an onsite position in Burlington, Vermont. Candidates must be local.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily dock scheduling activities to support high-volume deliveries for construction trades, equipment vendors, and project teams
- Develop and maintain delivery schedules from initial request through on-site arrival, ensuring alignment with project sequencing and site constraints
- Communicate real-time dock status, delivery changes, and scheduling updates to client management, construction teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Partner with general contractors, trade partners, tool vendors, and the owner’s team to ensure efficient material flow and minimize site congestion
- Support lookahead planning and delivery forecasting to align with construction schedules and critical milestones
- Prepare and distribute daily and weekly dock reports, delivery logs, and work plans to project teams
- Assist with inventory tracking and warehouse coordination in partnership with the Logistics Manager
- Facilitate and participate in coordination meetings related to site logistics, delivery planning, and material management
- Promote strong working relationships across construction teams and support overall craft productivity through effective logistics coordination
- Maintain awareness of active construction site conditions and ensure coordination aligns with site safety and operational requirements
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
- Clear communication skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams including field personnel, vendors, and client representatives
- Strong attention to detail and ability to track and manage scheduling data accurately
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting logistics, material coordination, or dock scheduling on large-scale construction or industrial projects
- Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, advanced manufacturing, data center, or pharmaceutical construction environments is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with construction scheduling practices, delivery sequencing, and lookahead planning
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-trade construction environment
Physical Demands
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
