Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO)
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Hours: Day Shift Flexible Hours
**This position comes with a $7000 Sign On Bonus.**
Essential Functions:
- Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift
- Perform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities
- Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workday
- Work collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environment
Performs microscopic examination of gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides for abnormal cellular changes. Responsible for referring appropriate cases for hierarchical review. Performs all duties in accordance with state and federal regulations. Maintains appropriate workload and quality assurance records. Some lab processing if needed
QualificationsRequired Knowledge: Liquid-based cytology training/certification (ThinPrep, ThinPrep Review Scope and Surepath, Focal Point); digital cytology experience preferred
Required Experience:
- Meet CLIA requirements (CFR.493.1483).
- Meet state licensure requirements, if applicable.
- Meet ASCP requirements for Cytotechnologist (if not certified prior to employment, must pass ASCP registry within one year of start date).
Special Requirement: Should be able to work extra days/shifts as dictated by business need.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
