The Role
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Divisional Experienced Advisor Onboarding Leader to drive a seamless and strategic onboarding experience for new Financial Advisors joining Wells Fargo. This role is critical in ensuring that every advisor transition-from pre-hire through post-hire-is executed with precision, efficiency, and care. Your business acumen and ability to anticipate operational changes will enable you to deliver a best-in-class experience for advisors while maintaining strong risk controls and compliance standards. In this role, you will:
  • Manage the pre & post-hire onboarding process along with recruiting business and transition consultants
  • Leader will be part of the Divisional team and understand the FA recruiting pipeline and know what's happening in the markets. Business acumen will be critical in the success of this position
  • Partner with local managers, operations, National Sales, technology, registration and HR to ensure process runs smoothly
  • Quality Supervision/control over the product due diligence and lending vetting for accuracy
  • Ensure pre-hire process and partners are running smoothly and deadlines are met
  • Ensure the team is following the process of transitioning book from start to finish
  • Identify, own and provide training opportunities for the team for further growth
  • Aware of major operational changes before they happen to ensure team is prepared
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, redesign, change management initiatives, and risk control development
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding operations of the team to meet business objectives
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures aligned with Wells Fargo's business line objectives
  • Collaborate and consult with immediate colleagues and cross functional business partners
  • Interact directly with executive management to influence, optimize, and negotiate on business operations related to Strategy and Execution
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for business execution

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years Management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with onboarding financial advisors to the firm
  • Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels

Job Expectations:
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process
