Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Division Order Analyst who will be responsible for reviewing title, title opinions, agreements, and curative to create ownership decks. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of tasks and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Review owner mail including conveyance and probate documents to accurately process ownership transfers and maintain current Division of Interest records 
  • Communicate and respond to royalty owner inquiries regarding Division Orders, address changes, payment questions, etc. 
  • Organize and maintain digital document files in the Land System for all owner mail, executed Division Orders, and ownership changes; support Auditors by providing requested documentation 
  • Coordinate with Sr. Division Order Analysts to process the release of suspense funds based on receipt of Division Orders or title curative documents
  • Assist with Cost Center and Joint Interest Billing deck setups as needed 
  • Set up and maintain accurate owner account records including addresses, tax IDs, payment methods, etc. 
  • Coordinate with Revenue Accounting and Treasury to review returned checks and ACH kickbacks   
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

 Qualifications:
Education, Certificates, and Licenses:
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Petroleum Management, or Energy Management preferred
Experience:
  •  3+ years of experience in an Owner Relations or Division Order role  
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  •  Experience using Land/Accounting software (SAP and/or PakLand a plus)         
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to manage high volume of ownership changes Detail oriented, driven and self-motivated 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with Accounting, Land, and Legal departments 
  • Available to work in office 5 days/week

Skills Required
