The CIVIL Solutions Business Area at Leidos has an opportunity for an FPA Senior Manager in our Gaithersburg Maryland location. This position will manage and oversee all financial planning and analysis including monthly close and forecasting, indirect rate management, balance sheet and cash applications on a $1.8B portfolio.

FPA Senior Manager responsibilities:
This position will lead a team of 3 analysts and is responsible for developing and driving financial forecasts, analyzing company results, and evaluating risks for all areas of the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows. Activities will include leading cost reduction initiatives as well as the continued development of the planning systems and processes. Duties may include presenting key business insights and recommendations to the senior leadership to contribute to the process of determining a company's financial needs or goals for the future, and how to achieve them.
Additional Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for financial performance of the operating unit to include Annual Operating Plan, monthly forecasts, and FP&A activities.
• Leading a team of business finance professional staff to ensure contractual compliance, cost management, budget development and proposal support.
• Establishment/tracking of indirect rates and expenses (recent consolidation of OH rates and sharing of OH by multiple programs resulting in more competitive bids.).
• Month-end closings and variance/trend analyses
• Cash management/Capex
• Deliverables: Estimate at Completion (EACs), quarterly financial status reviews (QFSR), monthly and quarterly business reviews
Qualifications:
• Bachelors’ Degree with 8 years’ of applicable experience (a minimum of 4 years of additional years’ of experience in lieu of degree will also be considered), or a Masters degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance. Must have 2+ years JAVA experience.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
• Must have Government contracting experience leading and managing large financial operations or portfolios
• Experience in managing balance sheet and cash application metrics
• Experience in managing invoice processes
• Create new financial models and metrics to help manage IT service businesses and our IT infrastructure assets
• Proven experience in working and communicating business cases, variance analysis, and evaluating cost benefit models
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Gross Margin/product-based business models

Pay Range:Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
