Job Description

Ditech Testing is seeking a proactive and people-centric Human Resources Manager to help shape the future of its workforce. The Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in supporting the company’s continued growth by championing its people strategy, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and building a strong, values-driven culture.  This position is a 6 month contract, with the potential for extension after the initial time frame.

This role calls for a hands-on, strategic thinker—someone with the emotional intelligence to foster trust and collaboration, and the operational savvy to develop scalable HR systems and processes. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for people, a drive for results, and the ability to navigate and influence in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.  

Working closely with the Ditech leadership team, the Human Resources Manager will report to the Director of HR, Manchester / Ditech with a dotted line to the VP of Operations, Ditech.

What you’ll be doing:

People & Culture Leadership

  • Lead all aspects of human resources including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, training, and compliance.
  • Champion a culture of safety, engagement, and accountability by aligning HR practices with company values and operational goals.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee retention, morale, and professional growth.

Strategic HR Planning

  • Partner with the leadership team to support workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.
  • Evaluate and evolve HR policies, procedures, and systems to support operational excellence.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to provincial, federal, and cross-border labour laws and employment standards across all jurisdictions in which Ditech operates.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.

Talent Development

  • Lead training and development programs that build team capabilities and support career progression.
  • Lead performance review and feedback processes that promote accountability and continuous improvement.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Oversee HRIS, benefits administration, employee files, and internal reporting.
    Continuously improve HR operational processes to drive efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CPHR designation (or working toward it) is considered a strong asset.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in HR, with demonstrated experience as a strategic partner to leadership.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, operational environment—ideally in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial services.
  • Solid knowledge of Canadian employment legislation; cross-border (U.S.) HR experience is considered an asset.
  • A relationship-oriented leader with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities with the flexibility to adapt in a growing, entrepreneurial business.
