Responsibilities
- Engage management, operational leadership and warehouse associates to assist in maintaining service levels, quality expectations, and productivity
- Analyze wave and task configuration to maximize efficiency and develop new processes and rules that improve DC flow and performance
- Work with Customer Service and the DC Operations Planner to ensure that all orders are planned and prioritized to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Partner with the Inventory Department regarding shortages, maintaining inventory logs and making order adjustments based on feedback from operations
- Notify the DC Operations team (DC Supervisors and DC Leads) of all requested changes from customers regarding scheduling, processing and shipping
- Coordinate special, expedited order requests with the customer service, operations and transportation groups
- Coordinate daily workload accordingly with all Inbound and Outbound departments
- Process daily invoicing and billing
- Perform data entry and records compilation
- Serve as backup for creating bills of lading and submit for routing
- Keep DC Supervisor team informed about discrepancies that could impact FTZ compliance
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced warehouse required
- Experience with WMS systems (Softeon, Manhattan, Red Prairie, etc.) and RF barcode scanners, required
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.), required
- Experience with wave creation and workload planning, preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Exceptional ability to deal with adverse situations positively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with others. Be a team player.
- Ability to work with little direct supervision
- Ability to sit at a desk and perform computer work for 8-hour shifts
- Maintain a good attendance record
